About
Elytra Slot adds a dedicated inventory slot so you can wear an elytra and a chestplate at the same time, while leaving the vanilla chest slot available for armor. It supports gliding items that use the glider data component, not just the vanilla elytra, and handles their flight, durability, rendering, and enchantment behavior through the slot. You can equip or remove an elytra through familiar inventory interactions, including right-clicking, shift-clicking, swaps, and throwing; binding and vanishing curses behave as expected, and only one elytra can be worn across the chest, dedicated, or accessory slots. The slot works with the built-in equipment slot and can integrate with Trinkets or Curios, with configurable provider selection; Curios support is for NeoForge. Because the elytra is treated as real equipment, standard equipment behavior such as durability, Mending, death drops, and grave or death-chest recovery is supported.
