Embers Unofficial Extended Life is a community-maintained fork of Embers Rekindled, a dwarven-themed magic-and-technology mod built around Ember, a limited power source extracted from deep underground near bedrock. It combines practical systems such as ore doubling and item transport with alchemy and magical ray guns, using Ember as the foundation for its technical and magical machinery. Its processing machines include the Exchange Tablet for alchemy, Heat Coil, Melter, Mixer, Reaction Chamber, and Stamper, which transform items and fluids into new outputs through recipes. The Melter can produce a secondary fluid output when paired with a Geologic Separator, while the Mixer can combine up to three input fluids and, with Mystical Mechanics installed, use a Mechanical Actuator to reduce a recipe’s Ember cost. The fork adds extensive configuration options, including in-game config editing and an option to register work-in-progress items and blocks, and includes bug fixes and changes from earlier pull requests. It also supports GroovyScript for customizing recipes and alchemy aspects, and has documented compatibility with mods including Applied Energistics 2, Environmental Tech, JAOPCA, Mystical Mechanics, and Spartan Weaponry Arcana.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 138 blocks, 197 items, 2 mobs, 1 loot table and 104 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
