    About

    Enhanced Quarries adds BuildCraft-inspired machinery for automating excavation, construction, and liquid removal. Its Quarry mines an open-pit area set with markers and can send materials to a chest above it or through connected pipes; the Optimum-style Quarry is intended to reduce lag during large-scale mining. The Filler uses markers to define a work area and modules to build or alter it, with options including filling, leveling, removing or deleting blocks, laying walls or floors, making boxes, pyramids and stairs, placing torches, and clearing liquids. A Pump automatically draws up liquids, while the mod’s experimental pump implementation differs from the original BuildCraft behavior. The machines can be paused with a redstone signal, and they require an energy source supplied through a compatible industrial mod rather than an included engine.
