A Skyblock Modpack with focus on multiple tech ages.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 194 graded mods, 75 are graded A or B, 22 C and 97 D to F. Its last update came out 3.9 years ago, for Minecraft 1.17.1. See the mods
Sky FABRICation 2 is a skyblock modpack built around progressing through successive technology ages while leaving room for magic and exploration. Players begin on an island gathering wood, making dirt and hammering it into stone, then work toward water, cobblestone generation, a mob farm, iron, lava production and a Nether portal. The Bronze Age introduces a smeltary for doubling ore products and an iron funnel for accessing more raw materials. Progression then moves through storage with Tom’s Storage and Applied Energistics, industrialization with Modern Industrialisation in the Steam Age, and broader access to technology mods in the Electric Age. More than 170 quests provide basic guidance without prescribing every step, with additional quests for magic and exploration. A magic chapter offers a change of pace from technical progression, including Botania. Seasonal changes affect the island: some plants do not grow in winter, while snow and ice become available.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.17.1 · Fabric, 17 Nov 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
8 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 19 Jul 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 207 of its 208 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 207 of its 208 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 137 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
71 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
