Ex Compressum is an Ex Nihilo addon that eases the early grind of skyblock worlds with tools and automation that build on Ex Nihilo-style resource gathering. Compressed Hammers break Compressed Blocks into nine of their processed forms, such as turning compressed gravel into sand, while the four-times-faster Compressed Crook speeds up gathering from foliage. A Heavy Sieve can sift Compressed Blocks with a suitable mesh, trading some efficiency for processing more material at once; its default output is equivalent to seven rather than nine blocks, and that amount is configurable. The Auto Compressor makes compressed forms from items when a 2×2 or 3×3 recipe exists, and powered Auto Sieves, Auto Heavy Sieves, and Auto Hammers automate sifting and breaking blocks. The Wooden Crucible slowly draws water from plant materials such as leaves, saplings, flowers, cactus, apples, and sweet berries, offering an alternative to rain. Animal baits can attract animals beyond their natural biomes, including cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, ocelots, and wolves, when the required environmental conditions are met. Compressed Mobs are stronger-looking variants that can spawn naturally and split into multiple ordinary mobs of the same type when killed by a player. Other additions include an Ore Smasher that places supported ore gravel or sand and can craft those blocks from ore pieces in the player's inventory, plus a Bat Zapper for bats.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 60 blocks, 1 mob, 123 recipes and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Its files for older Minecraft versions (1.7.10 to 1.16.5) also send your player name.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

2,246 modpacks include Ex Compressum in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Ex Compressum. Share: how many of the modpacks with Ex Compressum also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
