    About

    Expert Armor slows armor progression by adding craftable armor plates as an extra step in making protective gear. It adds plates for leather, iron, gold, and diamond armor, as well as compatible modded armor; a plate replaces the corresponding material in an armor recipe. A diamond plate costs four diamonds, and plates can be converted back into their materials through crafting. The armor recipe-unlock achievements are adjusted to match the plate-based recipes.
