A challenging modpack focused on exploration, skills, building, and relationships.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 207 graded mods, 168 are graded A or B, 28 C and 11 D to F. Its last update came out 2.2 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
AluCraft RPG is a challenging modpack about building a life in a dangerous world, combining exploration and combat with skills, community, and relationships. Its world features rolling hills, towering mountains, expansive cave networks, and abandoned camps that hide lost treasure, alongside towns where you can settle, make friends, and build a home through changing seasons. Choose a vocation such as armorsmithing, building, or farming, with skills shaping what you can do rather than letting one character master every task. Explore ruins and monuments guarded by powerful creatures for materials, weapons, armor, and trinkets that can grant abilities such as faster attacks, underwater breathing, or higher jumps; some chests require more than simply opening them. Combat offers clubs, spears, great hammers, bows, and spellcasting with tomes, while mods including Dusk, Eldritch, and Majrusz's Progressive Difficulty make mobs especially dangerous at night. Minecraft Comes Alive, Dynamic Villager Trades, and Numismatic Overhaul support a social and economic side to town life, including hiring Adventurers for protection; land claims can also be expanded with coins through NumismaticClaim. Additional features include exchanging materials for useful items through Bountiful, brewing with Farmer's Delight Refabricated and Brewin' and Chewin', and proximity voice chat that can even carry into the Deep Dark.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 25 Jul 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 25 Jul 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 212 of its 213 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 204 of its 207 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 17 of the 168 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
39 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
