    About

    Fast Item Frames replaces entity-based item frames with lightweight blocks designed to respond quickly and reduce the performance cost of builds with many frames. The frames support block interactions, commands such as /setblock, and immediate reactions when their supporting blocks are broken or moved by pistons, while still allowing multiple frames in the same block space. You can dye frames to one of 5,713,438 colors, hide the frame while displaying its item at a larger size, and use honeycomb to wax a frame against accidental changes. Configuration options let you adjust the appearance and scale of invisible-frame items, remove their render offset, hide custom item-name labels, and control whether existing vanilla frames are converted into blocks.
