About
Fishing Frontier reworks Minecraft fishing into a gear-based progression journey, rewarding time spent fishing with Fisherman's Set armor that helps players advance through the ranks. Players can catch tier-based edible fish and other customized items, with loot varying by biome and fishing location; fish food can also be used to chum the water and influence catches. Its custom enchantments add distinct ways to fish: Live Catch brings up loot-filled creatures, while Treasure Hunter yields loot crates and encourages exploration of rare structures to collect armor trims. Fireproof Line opens up lava fishing, with the Nether as its main setting, and can be combined with the other enchantments for additional fishing possibilities. Advancements guide players along the journey, and an informational book with an in-game encyclopedia offers tips and details about fish and where to find them.
