    About

    FlashFyre's Enchantments adds configurable enchantments for weapons, armor, and saddles, offering effects for combat, defense, movement, and equipment durability. Weapon enchantments include Butchering, which increases axe damage to animals; Inferno, which sets crossbow shots and nearby mobs ablaze; and Maelstrom, which damages and pulls nearby mobs toward a trident. Other weapon effects include Aquatic Restoration, which restores trident durability in water or rain; Retribution, which increases crossbow damage to illagers; Keen Point, which increases crossbow arrow damage; and Outpour, which boosts trident damage against fire mobs and extinguishes burning mobs. Sword enchantments add Poison Aspect and Wither Aspect, which apply their respective status effects, and Vampiric, which can heal the wielder on a fully cooled-down hit; Weighted Blade can inflict weakness on a critical hit, while Torrent increases swimming speed when a trident is held. Armor enchantments include Obsidian Skull, which reduces damage from Elytra collisions with walls; Searing Touch, which can set attackers on fire; and Steadfast, which reduces incoming knockback and slightly knocks back the attacker. Saddle enchantments affect horses: Quickness increases their movement speed, Leaping raises their jump height, and Buoyancy lets them float in water. The mod adds enchantment-related chest loot, including a configurable chance for saddles in existing chests to receive a random saddle enchantment, and places selected enchantment books in locations such as ocean ruins, nether fortresses, end cities, jungle temples, and pillager outposts; Inferno and Searing Touch books can also come from piglin bartering. Configuration options control whether enchantments appear in loot or trades and whether they count as treasure enchantments, while datapacks can configure loot modifiers and individual enchantments can be disabled.
