World of Dragons II is a magic-and-technology modpack built around preparing for and conquering elemental dragons, letting players combine spells, enchantments, machinery, and custom contraptions to take on these boss-level threats. Its arcane side includes Ars Nouveau, Occultism, Ensorcellation, and Schools of Magic: Second Semester for spellcraft, familiars, and rituals, alongside modular relics and artifacts. For engineering and automation, Create supplies mechanical systems such as gears, conveyors, and flywheels, while Mekanism, Thermal, Powah!, and Refined Storage support energy, factories, and infrastructure. FTB Quests and Game Stages shape progression, with MineColonies adding settlement-building milestones and the tools to develop a colony. Exploration brings kobold citadels and winding caves from Kobolds! and Orcinus’s Caves, dungeons from When Dungeons Arise and YUNG’s structure mods, as well as terrain and settlements such as Better Badlands and jungle villages. Players can outfit themselves and companions with items such as Tool Belts, Traveler’s Backpacks, Inventory Pets, and armored wolves, then build and furnish bases, labs, castles, or vehicle hubs with Chisels & Bits, MrCrayfish’s furniture and vehicles, and Engineer’s Decor. Farming and resource systems include Botany Pots, Mystical Agriculture, and Farmer’s Delight, supporting self-sustaining bases alongside larger ambitions such as flying ships, draconic observatories, and fortresses.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 28 Jul 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 25 Dec 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 229 of its 231 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 228 of its 231 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 156 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
11 other mods show AI use only from after this release (28 Jul 2025), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
75 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
