FlightAssistant is a client-side mod that adds configurable aircraft-style avionics and flight automation to elytra flying, including a real-time HUD, safety alerts, flight protections, and autopilot systems. Its customizable HUD can use different layouts for players who are not flying, with or without an elytra equipped, and while flying; its displays include airspeed, heading, altitude, coordinates, elytra durability, attitude, flight path, course deviation, radar altitude, and active automation modes. Guidance bars help with manual flying, while the autopilot can control navigation and camera direction, and autothrust can manage speed or climb and descent; these systems can be used separately or together. Flight plans organize a trip into departure, enroute waypoints, and arrival, with coordinates, altitudes, and thrust or speed settings; the autopilot can follow the plan hands-free from takeoff through landing, and saved plans can be reused. The plan also supports waypoint estimates for distance and travel time, direct-to waypoint selection, and a go-around that climbs to a configured altitude before returning to an approach waypoint. Configurable protections can deploy the elytra automatically and respond to stalls, approaching terrain, dangerous sink rates, or the void with measures such as limiting pitch, adjusting thrust, or raising pitch to recover. The mod can also block explosive-firework use in specified circumstances, and its protections can be configured, temporarily overridden, or disabled when they feel intrusive. Alerts appear visually and with sound, and can be configured; examples warn of terrain ahead, imminent impact, excessive sink rate, or approaching the void damage altitude.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
