    About

    Genetics: Resequenced lets you extract genetic material from mobs and turn it into more than 80 powers that can be implanted in yourself or other entities, including pets. Its lab workflow runs from scraping an entity for Organic Matter and processing it through a Cell Analyzer, DNA Extractor, and DNA Decryptor to identify a Gene, then building a Gene-bearing Plasmid and injecting it. The machinery supporting this process includes a Coal Generator, Blood Purifier, Plasmid Infuser and Injector, plus an Incubator and Advanced Incubator. Genes offer practical abilities such as Flight, Wall Climbing, Teleport, Item Magnet, Mob Sight, Night Vision, and Water Breathing, as well as combat and survival traits including Strength, extra hearts, fire immunity, and regeneration. Other Genes give entities distinctive behaviors, from laying eggs, producing wool, or scaring away Creepers, Skeletons, Spiders, and Zombies to placing temporary lights or summoning Support Slimes to help in combat after death. The collection also includes harmful Genes such as Blindness, Hunger, Levitation, Poison, Wither, and explosive death, alongside plagues with names including Black Death, Gray Death, and White Death. Some Genes can mutate into stronger forms, such as More Hearts II, while Anti-Plasmids can remove selected Genes and an Anti-Field Block can suppress certain Gene effects nearby. Genes work on both players and mobs in most cases, and data-driven definitions let datapacks add or modify Genes and restrict which entities can receive them.
