Survive a frozen skyblock and work toward creating a new world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 273 graded mods, 235 are graded A or B, 35 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 2 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Enigmatic Skies is a progression-focused skyblock modpack about surviving a frozen, water-scarce void and ultimately creating the World Seed. With monsters absent, the cold is the central survival threat, so players must manage heating and cooling as they advance. Alchemical knowledge lets players bring villagers to life, then keep them supplied with complex meal kits to unlock custom trades for otherwise unavailable goods; those trades can be automated by keeping the villagers fed. Players transmute creatures, from ordinary animals to monsters, using systems from Occultism, Malum, Genetics, and Ender IO to obtain materials for machinery and stronger magic. Ars Nouveau spells can also be used to create items for trading with the pack’s Alakarkinos. The industrial progression ranges from basic steam boilers to fusion power through Modern Industrialization, with water produced from sources including clouds, melons, and recycled waste to support power and resource production.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 25 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 26 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 273 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 272 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 229 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
43 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
