Mobs grow stronger farther from spawn, while mob farms drop less loot.

Harder Farther lets players and server or modpack creators tune difficulty and rewards to make exploration away from worldspawn increasingly challenging, while also limiting rapid mob-farm drops and experience. By default, monsters grow stronger with distance, gaining health, damage, speed, and knockback resistance; kills can also yield extra experience and loot, including glowstone, books, emeralds, diamonds, and, at greater distances, rare items such as netherite scrap. The distance-based loot can include experience bottles and two named potions: Life Saving, which grants absorption and regeneration, and Ogre Strength, which adds damage, night vision, and a brief regeneration effect; both potions become more powerful farther from spawn. An optional Grim Citadels feature builds dark towers that strengthen nearby monsters, harm ordinary creatures, and curse players as they approach, with fog and strange sounds adding environmental cues around each citadel. Another optional mode can make inhabited chunks progressively more hostile over time, encouraging players to move on and settle in new areas. The main features can be enabled independently or combined, and configurable settings let users adjust the difficulty, distances, citadel effects, and loot tables, including replacing default rewards with items from other mods.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
