A fantasy adventure with new lands, monsters, spells, and dungeons.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 275 graded mods, 178 are graded A or B, 64 C and 33 D to F. Its last update came out 2.2 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Mystic Realms is an archived modpack that reshapes Minecraft into a fantasy-medieval RPG, with progression centered on survival, exploration, and discovery. Its world features towering peaks, fantastical regions, and thousands of dungeons and structures to explore, alongside new creatures and hundreds of bosses and minibosses to challenge. Players can develop different approaches to combat and travel, including casting spells with spellbooks, taming creatures, using melee weapons with new animations, collecting ability-granting trinkets and artifacts, and relying on mounts and overhauled movement. Progression supports different playstyles, while a temperature system makes travel through cold and hot regions more demanding and the redesigned interface and physics overhaul further change the experience. Additional threats include Graveyard content, spiders, enemies that grow stronger as players explore farther, and a fungal infection that can spread through the world.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 13 Aug 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 11 Aug 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 277 of its 280 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 271 of its 274 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 19 of the 225 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
49 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
