Suspended in a corrupt simulation, your people need you to restore Elyria's habitat free them from the decaying digital landscape. Mutated monsters and irradiated wastelands stand between you and the fate of a world on the precipice of extinction.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 252 graded mods, 190 are graded A or B, 45 C and 17 D to F. Its last update came out 2.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
FTB Genesis is a technology-focused survival and restoration modpack set in Elyria, a wasteland caught between a decaying physical world and the corrupted Nexa Network; players take the role of the Architect, tasked with rebuilding civilization and restoring the planet. Explore the ruins of Elyria’s once-great cities and search the wasteland and civilization archive for lost technology while fighting mutated and corrupted monsters. To make the wasteland habitable, breed crops, splice genes and genetically engineer life suited to the damaged environment. Its technology and resource systems include Electrodynamics and Nuclear Science for science-based industry and energy, Mekanism for processing, PneumaticCraft for pressure-powered factories, and Applied Energistics 2 for turning energy into matter and back. Players can crossbreed crops with IC2 Classic, grow resources through Mystical Agriculture, obtain resources with Productive Bees, and use Advanced Solars Classic for solar power. GraviSuit adds quantum armor and flight, while the broader challenge combines advanced technology, esoteric energy and simulated realities in a struggle to save Elyria’s people and ecosystem.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 18 Sep 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 26 Aug 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 254 of its 255 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of 253 of its 254 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 18 of the 203 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
51 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
