About
Hunger Strike lets players in Survival worlds avoid constantly eating while retaining the ability to sprint, and can be enabled selectively for players on an SMP server. For affected players, the hunger bar stays half full, which disables natural health regeneration; the Hunger and Regeneration effects can lower or fill the bar, respectively. Eating food instantly restores health at half the food’s value, so a cookie restores half a heart and a cooked porkchop restores two hearts. The application mode can be set to disable the mod for everyone, enable it only for players added in-game with the /hungerstrike command, or enable it for all players.
