About
Hunting Dimension provides a dedicated, eternally dark dimension where players can hunt mobs and collect drops at any time, helping avoid conflicts over nighttime hunting on servers. Mobs there are tougher than their usual counterparts, with extra natural armor, more health, and higher damage; these buffs can be adjusted or disabled in the configuration. Kills can yield configurable bonus loot comparable to an extra level of Looting, as well as configurable bonus experience, while reduced cave generation helps mob farms run more efficiently. Keeping mob farms in this separate dimension can also make it easier to identify sources of server lag. Players can alter the dimension's chunk biomes using craftable Creeping Moss, applying a biome they have set while standing in it; special recipes can provide access to rarer biomes such as ice plains.
