    About

    Infinite Dimensions reimagines the April Fools’ 20w14infinite snapshot, letting players create portals to more than 2.1 billion randomly generated dimensions by writing in a book and quill and throwing it into a Nether portal. Each destination can have unpredictable terrain, unusual sky colors, and plant life built from randomly selected blocks, with generation drawing on blocks, structures, mobs, biomes, fluids, and other content from installed mods. Exploration also includes handcrafted Easter egg worlds such as Chaos, with completely random-block terrain and a harsh green sky; Chess, a black-and-white tiled landscape with matching trees; and Content, a small void island with an oak tree and a chest. Extensive configuration lets players adjust the chances and selection weights for generated content, add content from other mods, or exclude unwanted entries from dimension generation. Intentional integrations include using printed books from CC: Tweaked to open portals and allowing trains from Create and its related mods to travel through them.
