Iron's Spell Scroll Ponder lets players inspect Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks magic by opening an interactive preview from a scroll tooltip. It casts the selected spell with a simulated player in an isolated preview dimension and projects the resulting entities, blocks, particles, sounds, and cast state into a Ponder scene, allowing many add-on spells to work without custom scene code. The scene presents a simulated caster and three targets on an arena, while the interface shows spell details such as school, rarity, level, mana cost, cooldown, spell power, and observed target damage. Players can browse enabled spells by school, search and switch spells, and rotate, pan, and zoom the scene; charged and continuous spells also show server-synchronized cast progress. Complex spells with follow-up actions can use dedicated adapters, including support for multi-stage, recast, reactive-defense, and subsequent-projectile mechanics. The preview runs spell logic on the server while keeping the real player in place, and limits each session to 15 seconds; spells that could cause persistent world changes or dimension travel are information-only.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Server and world logicChanges 1 game code file in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules..
Libraries packed inside it change 14 more game code files: Flywheel and Ponder.
Adds 1 dimension: Spell Preview; 1 key binding: Ponder.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
