    About

    Jurassic Reborn brings Jurassic Park- and Jurassic World-inspired prehistoric life into Minecraft, drawing creatures from related games, films, and fandoms. Its 112 creatures span dinosaurs, marine reptiles, prehistoric fish, mammals, and hybrids, including Tyrannosaurus rex, Baryonyx, Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Mammoth, Smilodon, and Paraceratherium. Creatures have distinct models, textures, animations, and AI, with behaviors such as feeding, drinking, grazing, social interaction, and responding to threats. Intelligent dinosaurs can test enclosure weaknesses, escape through vulnerable spots, remember successful routes, and share escape opportunities with packmates. Players can recover and process fossils, then use machines such as the DNA Digitizer, DNA Assembler, DNA Processor, and Egg Processor to manage DNA and create prehistoric creatures and plants. DNA vials have viability and can become corrupted if left outside protected storage, while the storage machine protects up to 20 vials. The mod also supports park-building with security-tiered fences, gates, food supplies, security cameras, and tour vehicles such as Jeeps, a Monorail, a helicopter, and a river cruise boat. A PaleoPad provides creature tracking through DinoPedia, including health, hunger, thirst, age, location, status, and enclosure information, and can also be used to view security cameras remotely.
