A horror modpack about dinosaurs.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 228 graded mods, 154 are graded A or B, 49 C and 25 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Jurassic Terror is a horror-focused dinosaur modpack built around surviving a dangerous prehistoric world. Dinosaurs actively patrol territories and react to nearby players: some watch from hiding, while others hunt, pursue, and break through obstacles when approached. Encounters become especially threatening at night, when large carnivores roam or ambush players, making caves, forests, and ruins feel unsafe. The pack’s dinosaur roster shown in its gallery includes Quetzalcoatlus, Hatzegopteryx, Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, Spinowane, Ceratosaurus nasicornis, and Dodo Rex. Custom sounds, eerie animations, and world changes may contribute to an atmosphere in which the dinosaurs feel active and watchful.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 1 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 1 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 216 of its 229 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 199 of its 211 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 169 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
42 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
