Villagers find their beds and workstations, and avoid dangerous paths.

Liberty's Villagers improves villager and related entity behavior while letting players tune how village life works. You can adjust how far villagers search for beds, workstations, and meeting points, how long they travel to them, and how close they must get to use them; options also address getting stuck, unsafe jumps, and hazards such as cactus, water, rails, trapdoors, and powdered snow. Profession-specific settings let farmers search for crops and plant or harvest melons and pumpkins, while butchers, fletchers, leatherworkers, and shepherds can feed appropriate livestock; fishermen can catch cod and salmon and cook them when restocking, and librarians can seek nearby bookcases. Other optional behavior changes include waking villagers with restored health, limiting breeding, preventing crop trampling, changing baby growth, and having armorers heal iron golems or clerics heal villagers and players during work hours. Settings also cover golem and cat populations and movement: golems can avoid hazards, return to shore, and stay within a chosen range of a meeting point, while cat options include spawn limits, preventing despawning, and allowing black cats to appear regardless of moon phase. For village oversight, a stats book summarizes occupations, homeless villagers, golems, cats, and open beds; inspection tools report an individual villager's bed, job site, meeting place, and inventory, while a setting can mark blocks as valid or invalid points of interest.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 39 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., Rendering and graphicsChanges 2 game code files in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
Libraries packed inside it change 12 more game code files: Server Translations API and Packet Tweaker.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
