Dungeon Heroes is a multiplayer-focused RPG modpack that turns vanilla survival into a guided dungeon-crawling adventure, while remaining playable solo. Players begin in useful villages, learn class selection and skills through a tutorial, then follow an overarching quest line through dungeons and boss fights across several dimensions. The pack offers eight playable RPG classes, including wizard, archer and paladin, with class specializations such as the paladin’s Retribution or Protection paths and the archer’s Marksman or Naturalist paths. Character building combines attributes, a skill tree with nearly 200 nodes, passive abilities and a large spell selection; spells feature distinct mechanics such as charging attacks, summoned allies and weapon-charging strikes. Exploration includes more than 30 dungeons and 13 boss fights, with zone-based difficulty and rewards that increase as players progress. Loot ranges from basic equipment to collectible high-tier weapons and armor, including themed epic armor sets for each class that offer different boosts to complement spell choices. Combat and survival are tuned for deliberate RPG play, with slower hunger loss and natural healing, chance-based critical hits, limited enchantment slots and reduced equipment durability loss.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 3 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 28 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 253 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 233 of its 238 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 20 of the 206 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
32 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
