    About

    Lootr gives each player a separate loot inventory in eligible containers, so exploring a structure does not mean arriving after another player has taken its contents. It works with loot-table containers including chests, trapped chests, barrels, shulker boxes and chest minecarts, while keeping loot generation based on Minecraft’s usual system with a different randomized seed for each player. Lootr containers have a distinctive appearance that changes from gold to blue after that player has opened them, making individual progress visible in the world. The mod also supports per-container refresh or decay timers when configured: contents can regenerate after a set period, or the container can be destroyed when someone next tries to open it. These individualized loot containers let players share existing structures without competing for a single inventory, encouraging exploration while reducing the incentive to generate new chunks.
