About
Miner Arcana Astral adds psychic projection and introspection, letting players travel beyond their body and explore a dimension shaped as an expanding inner world. Traveling Medicine, brewed from Snowberries and Feverweed, grants Astral Travel, while Introspection Medicine opens access to the Inner Realm; Snowberries come from snowy forests and taigas, and Feverweed grows in jungles. In Astral form, players fly as ghostlike entities, avoid physical damage and most non-Astral enemies, and spend experience to regenerate health; their body remains behind holding their ordinary inventory, and its destruction is fatal. Astral players can explore Etheric Isles floating above oceans, gathering resources from Ethereal Trees and grasses and encountering Crystal Spider spawners; Ethereal wood helps make Phantasmal Tools usable in Astral form. Crystal Spiders attack with webs that inflict Mind Venom, which gradually drains experience and causes poison damage if experience runs out, while Phantoms can target Astral players and drop materials for the Index of Knowledge and Phantasmal Tools. Within the Inner Realm, players earn Keys of Enlightenment through advancements and use them to break Astral Meridian barriers, expanding the accessible area into adjacent chunks. Players can build Mental Constructs there, including Gardens that restore hunger and Libraries that build levels when health is regained; construct potency is assessed from nearby blocks, and a Garden can also recharge Botania mana-storage items. The Intention Tracker sends a projectile in the aimed direction and, when the input is released, teleports the player to its position at an experience cost unless it collides with most blocks; it can also trigger effects on contact with certain blocks.
