    About

    Miner's Lung adds survival-focused air mechanics, making you gradually lose air below Y=0 or above Y=128 and in the Nether, while the End has no breathable air. Potions of Free Breathing, Respirators, and Air Bladders help you breathe, while Soul Fire, Soul Torches, and Soul Campfires create small safe areas and a Bottle of Soulfire restores your lungs. Safety Lanterns change color to show nearby air quality, and Drowned can choke the air out of you when they attack. You can right-click a torch to make it emit particles as a cave signal; breaking it still returns the torch rather than adding another item to your inventory. The air conditions and mechanics are configurable, including the dimensions where they apply, and individual mechanics can be disabled.
