Misty World adds a dimension for survival and exploration, reached by following an achievement-led quest to open its portal. The world is divided between habitable areas and a toxic, milky fog that has carved deep canyons, where unfamiliar and dangerous life thrives. Its environment includes five climatic zones and two special zones, with varied terrain, small dungeons, and biomes such as mixed forest, taiga, savanna, swampy forest, and jungle. The ecosystem is built around environmental conditions and life cycles, with realistic tree growth, soil affected by moisture and fertilizer, and unusual flora and fauna. More than 20 new mobs inhabit the dimension; examples include Mosslings, Forest Runners, Sniffs, and Desert Fish, and many creatures vary by gender and take time to bear young. A taming skill supports raising and breeding creatures, with different species responding to particular foods and some able to be saddled, milked, or sheared. Exploration can uncover wells, old foundations, altars, and tombs, while hazards and resources include acid pockets, sulfur, saltpeter, Nightberries, and other distinctive plants and materials. Survival tools include respirators and protective suits for dealing with the fog, a Gas Analyzer, and a versatile campfire that can be fitted with a roasting stick, grill, or cauldron.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.1 to 1.12.2.
Adds 346 recipes, 43 advancements, 60 loot tables and 93 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's interface textures.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.1 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
6 of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 1 of its 7 files we read
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.1 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
