Explore a magical skyblock world built from the ruins of the overworld.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 163 graded mods, 49 are graded A or B, 28 C and 86 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Heavens of Sorcery is a magic-focused skyblock modpack set after the Overworld has been destroyed, beginning on a small fragment your father saved and asking you to expand your world and explore other dimensions. Its progression and resource gathering are custom-built from the mechanics of several magic mods rather than relying on a dedicated skyblock resource mod, with additional custom recipes and systems. A Patchouli quest book combines completable, reward-giving quests with guide entries that explain mechanics and introduce optional activities. The pack emphasizes magical crafting and exploration across dimensions, with documented destinations including the Nether, Misty World, Aether, Betweenlands, and Kathairis. Storage is handled through Arcane Archives and greatly increased stack sizes, with most items able to stack to 8,192 rather than relying on Applied Energistics 2 or Refined Storage.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 20 Oct 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 19 Oct 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 170 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 169 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (20 Oct 2020) in the 76 mods we checked.
3 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
93 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
