Mobstein is a necromancy-themed mod about resurrecting vanilla creatures and assembling new beings from body parts, giving familiar animals and other mobs new uses as companions, helpers, and experimental creations. Its resurrection roster includes axolotls, dolphins, bats, ocelots, silverfish, rabbits, turtles, pandas, polar bears, spiders, and golems, with creature-specific taming items and abilities. Resurrected companions have distinct roles: axolotls can aid nearby players with regeneration and night vision, dolphins swim quickly and provide water breathing, bats attack while flying, and spiders can be ridden and climb walls. The Clinical Stretch revives bodies, while the Surgery Stretch combines heads, bodies, and perks; the Organ Extractor retrieves organs from complete bodies, and a body support lets players display them. Perks tune creations for attack, health, or speed, and the Subject Assembly Machine can turn heads, torsos, and pants into a mannequin, including one made with a player head. The mod also features the Putrid Horse, which visibly rots through about five stages, and Frankenstein Golems that can wear suits and provide a nearby speed effect. Special experiments broaden the creature collection: Igor produces random failed experiments at his table, including hybrids such as a llama-mushroom-cow and a fox-dragon, while Dr. Mobstenio can be revived at Frankenstein Castle. Exploration and boss encounters center on Frankenstein Castle in swamps, Witherstein Ruins in jungles, and the jungle’s Old Ruins; Witherstein is a three-stage boss found as a skeleton in its ruins.

Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 9 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
