An adventure modpack with quests, exploration, and deeper role-playing.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 492 graded mods, 409 are graded A or B, 78 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 4 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
New Game 3 is a modpack built to make Minecraft feel like a more immersive, quest-driven RPG, with quests connecting many of its major mods and giving players new ways to progress. Exploration spans dozens of added biomes and creatures from mods such as Ecologics, Geophilic, Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone, Living Things, and Pam’s HarvestCraft 2, as well as dungeons and ruins from Dungeon Crawl, Dungeons and Taverns, and the YUNG’s series. Players can travel to The Aether, The Undergarden, Stellaris, and Deeper and Darker, each with its own atmosphere and challenges. Combat brings powerful enemies and bosses, including those from L_Ender’s Cataclysm and Mowzie’s Mobs, while RPG-focused mods such as RPG Series and Realm RPG support character progression. Magic is another major path, with Ars Nouveau, Forbidden and Arcanus, and Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks among the included spellcasting mods. MCA Reborn lets players build relationships and start families, while AmbientSounds 6, Better Animations Collection, CameraOverhaul, and ItemPhysic Full contribute to the pack’s sound and visual immersion. The pack also includes hundreds of mods for decoration, technology, performance, and immersion, and supports multiplayer exploration, building, and questing with friends.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 22 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 8 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 493 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 463 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 39 of the 404 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
59 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
