A horror adventure filled with quests, eerie places, and dangerous creatures.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 365 graded mods, 308 are graded A or B, 51 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out 2 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Whispers in the Void is a horror adventure modpack with quests, built to make Minecraft exploration tense and unsettling. Its world features cursed ruins, haunted forests, and forgotten villages, while threats include Herobrine, Cave Dweller Reimagined, Arthropod Phobia Expansions, The Undead Revamped, Mutant Monsters, and creatures from Born in Chaos and The Box of Horrors. Atmospheric additions such as Dark Mist, Void Fog, Sound Physics Remastered, and Ambient Sounds reinforce the eerie environments and sense of danger. For a broader adventure beyond the horror encounters, the pack also includes Alex’s Caves, YUNG’s Better Structures, Sophisticated Storage, and Waystones. It supports multiplayer, and players can use shaders with Oculus for a more dramatic visual experience.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 24 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 364 of its 365 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 350 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 35 of the 301 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
49 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
