    About

    Music Disc Maker lets you turn supported music links or audio and video files from your computer into custom discs for listening in Minecraft. Links can come from YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, internet radio, or direct audio sources; imported files are shared through the server, while link-based playback streams from its source and needs an internet connection. Custom discs show details such as the track title, artist, duration, source, and cover art, and can be played in a vanilla jukebox or in the mod’s portable or placeable Boombox. Albums organize up to 18 discs, including vanilla discs and discs from other mods, while a Golden Album holds 54; both can be played through supported devices. For listening around a base, the Golden Jukebox offers adjustable range and volume, positional or even-area audio, and playback controls, while linked Speakers extend its music to other rooms and can be individually adjusted or muted with redstone. The Boombox and Golden Jukebox provide controls for actions such as pausing, skipping, shuffling, repeating, seeking, and adjusting volume, and a Minecart with Golden Jukebox brings playback and controls onto rails. A Disc Dyeing Table changes a custom disc’s surface and accent colors separately, and a Disc Pedestal displays a disc with its title and artist. Live radio streams and YouTube live links can be made into radio discs that reconnect after brief interruptions, and multiplayer playback is synchronized so players joining an ongoing track hear the same part.
