    About

    Mutated Beasts adds powerful mutant versions of familiar Minecraft creatures, turning encounters with spiders, cave spiders, pigmen and iron golems into tougher fights. Mutant spiders leap at opponents, can summon baby spiders during battle and may leave a horde behind when defeated; mutant cave spiders leap and spit poison, with a venom armor state that enlarges them and intensifies their attacks when their health is low. The mutant pigman is a fire-immune, neutral foe that can call pigmen to its aid, absorb much of incoming damage and enter a faster enrage state when weakened. The mutant iron golem is a particularly formidable opponent with area attacks against nearby mobs, but it cannot currently be spawned or created in survival mode.
