About
mxTune adds playable musical instruments for performing music written in MML, a format used by some online games, so players can use existing tunes or create their own. Players can enter or paste MML into an editor that checks it as they work, reports errors, and turns valid compositions into Sheet Music for instruments to play. Music can be played solo or in coordinated group sessions: participants queue their parts, and the group leader starts playback once everyone is ready. Groups support up to 16 players or parts in the described jam system, and sessions can be PIN-protected when joining is restricted. Players can also define Music Venues as cuboid areas that contain mxTune sound, so music played inside cannot be heard outside and music played outside cannot be heard inside.
