About
Nethercraft Classic makes the Nether a survivable place to gather resources and build, with Nether equivalents of many familiar surface-world items and blocks. Its natural additions include Nether Dirt, Heat Sand, Glowood Trees, and Gloshrooms, while new ores provide materials such as Foulite, Neridium, Pyridium, Linium, and W-Ore. The Nether is populated by Imps, Dark and Bloody Zombies, Lava Slimes, Camouflage Spiders, Tribal Warriors, Trainees, and Archers. Glowood has practical uses beyond its trees: its parts resist explosions to a degree, and it can be crafted into a Lava Boat for travelling across lava seas. The Nether remains dark and challenging rather than becoming an easy substitute for the Surface.
