    About

    NewWorld enriches the Overworld with atmospheric biomes, exploration sites, building materials, and practical tools. Its Wooded Meadow is a forested meadow variant with fir trees and distinctive foliage; firs also appear less commonly in taiga-like biomes and provide a brown wood set for rustic builds. Plains and meadows can generate Buried Bunkers, usually underground, for players to excavate and explore for loot. The Ancient Mattock is a multi-tool that efficiently mines stone, wood, dirt, and other materials, and is crafted from template pieces found in Desert Temples, Trail Ruins, and Ancient Cities. Tombstones found in Ancient Cities can preserve a player's items after death when carried in the inventory; they are single-use but can be duplicated with reusable Illager Tomes found in Woodland Mansions. The mod also improves Lush Caves with richer foliage, Moss Sprouts, and new blocks including Loam, with Mud and Loam appearing in the Deepslate layer. New blocks add options for varied building palettes, and the mod is compatible with Farmer's Delight, Block Box, No Man's Land, Woodworks, and Boatload.
