Cobblemon Ori Starlight is a vanilla-style adventure and technology modpack built around Cobblemon, with Pokémon training and battles alongside exploration across the Overworld and additional dimensions. Its Cobblemon additions include 220 Pokémon added through data packs, NPC trainer battles, riding, capture experience, expanded ranching, a Pokémon radar and knowledge manual, and a Pokémon economy. Players can pursue Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, and teaching Pokémon moves with TMs and TRs, while legendary spawn notifications and added Pokémon towns and ruins give explorers more to discover. Poké Ball crafting connects Pokémon progression to Oritech technology and to materials from Eternal Starlight, Better End, and Better Nether, with some material choices interchangeable and others unique. The Eternal Starlight dimension also has Pokémon spawns, relics, and legendary ruins, while modified loot tables place items such as XP candies, consumables, and evolution items in exploration, archaeological, and trial-room rewards. Overworld exploration is refreshed with improved vanilla structure generation and variants of vanilla monsters; visual additions include configurable 3D weapons, fresh animations and moves, refined particles, and water ripples. For a more relaxed pace between adventures, the pack includes Farmer’s Delight and Macaw’s Furniture, and its overall gameplay is described as low-difficulty.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 9 Mar 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Feb 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 234 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 216 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 216 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
