OpenBlocks Reopened is a maintained fork of OpenBlocks that fixes longstanding bugs and adds quality-of-life changes and features to the original collection of practical, miscellaneous blocks and items. Its building and travel tools include dyeable elevators, a Jaded Ladder that combines a ladder with a trapdoor, a self-sizing rope ladder, construction guide blocks, map-display light boxes, colored flags, and paths. For exploration and survival, it offers hang gliders, sleeping bags that let players sleep without resetting their spawn point, luggage that follows as a sentient chest, player graves that safeguard belongings and store experience, and a wearable crane for lifting blocks and entities. Other utilities cover crop growth and resource handling, including sprinklers, liquid tanks, sponges, item cannons, vacuum hoppers that collect items and experience, and fans that move things with airflow. Redstone and automation options include the BIG BUTTON touch sensor, block breakers and placers, an XP drain that converts experience into liquid, and an Auto Anvil and Auto Enchantment Table that use liquid XP to work automatically. Players can also use archery targets, bear traps, odd-effect trophies, sonic goggles, a village-border highlighter, a slime-chunk detector, XP bottling, magnet turtles, and a creative-only healer that restores health and food while a player stands on it. A block-painting system lets players mix paint from dyes and milk, brush canvases and other blocks, apply patterns with stencils made at a Drawing Table, and remove paint with a squeegee; the Donation Station identifies which mod an item or block comes from. The reopened fork also stores player experience in graves, improves hang-glider deployment and rain checks, adds elevator and luggage configuration options, increases XP draining speed while sneaking on an XP Drain, and gives sprinklers sounds and the ability to moisturize farmland.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Rendering and graphicsChanges 2 game code files in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 189 recipes, 2 advancements, 1 loot table and 22 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
