A progressive "expert" modpack without magic.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 238 graded mods, 96 are graded A or B, 46 C and 96 D to F. Its last update came out 3 days ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Technocratica is a progressive expert modpack focused on technology and complex machinery rather than large magic-based progression. Its quest book guides players through progression lines spanning nearly every included mod, including ProjectE, Draconic Evolution, Extended Crafting, teleportation, conduits, crops, genetics, armor, Applied Energistics 2, and solar panels and generators. The pack revisits ProjectE’s forgotten alchemical knowledge but makes advanced machinery central to progress, and introduces pocket dimensions early so players can build compactly. The long-term goal is to craft creative items that provide effectively unlimited energy, items, fluids, and gases; the showcased rewards include creative generators, tanks, gas, EU, RF, and flux capacitors. Players can also expect dangerous mobs and sections where being able to see in the dark matters.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 21 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 5 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 245 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 244 of its 245 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 126 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
119 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
