    Opotato brings selected optimization mods to Forge 1.16.5 and tweaks other mods to improve the experience and address compatibility or performance issues. Its ports include Alternate Current, MixinTrace, and Smooth Menu, while its fixes and adjustments cover mods such as Dynamic Lights Reforged, Neat, and Spark. For supported mods, it offers practical changes such as configurable Ars Nouveau loot tables, Blue Skies dimension settings, and Undergarden Catacomb configuration, along with options to control Wither Storm entity cleanup and Block Cluster rendering. It also adjusts cross-mod behavior, for example by disabling automatic recipe unlocks when NotEnoughRecipeBook is present and avoiding tooltip conflicts with Legendary Tooltip or other mods.
