About
Parachute Mod adds parachutes and a powered paraglider for controlled descents and base jumping. Deploy the parachute after jumping to steer through the air, using forward motion to travel farther; an automatic activation device can instead deploy it after a fall of at least five meters. The parachute can rise on thermals from lava, campfires, and other heat sources, while rain and thunderstorms create increasing turbulence. Unlike the parachute, the powered paraglider can gain lift with power, and it can be refueled with redstone and repaired on an anvil. Both gliding items can be crafted in dyed colors or recolored with dye, with rainbow and camouflage variants also available.
