About
Particle Interactions Forgified adds particle effects to everyday Minecraft interactions, giving actions such as placing blocks, stripping logs, tilling soil, and using tools more visible feedback. Block-specific effects include snowflakes from snow, cherry petals from cherry foliage, leaves and flower petals from plants, grass blades from grass and crops, dust from sand and gravel, and red dust from redstone components. Other effects include bubbles when placing or breaking blocks underwater, sparks from flint and steel and fast-moving minecart wheels, embers and sparks from fires and smelting furnaces, and smoke from smokers. The mod also adds particles when walking or jumping through foliage, brushing blocks, interacting with item frames, and using anvils or stonecutters; fireflies can appear around suitable blocks in swampy biomes at night. Its particles are designed to remain pixel-consistent with other game effects, and the mod fixes particle flickering when looking straight down. Every feature can be adjusted or disabled in the configuration menu, and the mod works client-side without requiring installation on a server, though some effects triggered by other players may not appear in multiplayer.
