    About

    Plasmo Voice adds proximity-based voice chat to Minecraft, with spatial audio that places voices in the game world and adjustable distance so nearby players can talk naturally. Its audio features include stereo sources, RNNoise noise reduction, smooth volume transitions, and optional occlusion that muffles voices through blocks or directional audio that changes with the speaker’s facing. Players can use push-to-talk or voice activation, choose audio devices, adjust individual players’ volume, and manage voice and overlay settings through an in-game interface. Servers use the Opus codec for high-quality, low-bandwidth audio and provide encrypted communication, configurable voice range, chat-command muting, permissions, and support for vanish and PlaceholderAPI. It works in singleplayer and Open to LAN, and supports BungeeCord and Velocity networks for voice chat across server setups. Optional add-ons extend the chat with group channels, whispering, priority voice activation, broadcasts, spectator audio, and sculk-sensor and warden reactions to nearby speech. Other add-ons let players play or stream audio through music discs, use a radio block for long-distance communication, record voice in ReplayMod or Flashback, and apply Sound Physics Remastered effects.
