Fight hordes of monsters with guns in a fast-paced adventure.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 234 graded mods, 135 are graded A or B, 40 C and 59 D to F. Its last update came out 2.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Jetpack Cat is a story-driven exploration and combat modpack that turns survival into a fast-paced fight against powerful monsters, with firearms as the main weapons. Hostile mobs are faster, tougher, and more aggressive: the Overworld brings waves of zombies at night, Gummy Land has hordes of skeletons and spiders, and Lycanites creatures appear throughout the world alongside bosses and giant beasts. Combat is paired with quick, acrobatic movement, including faster running and swimming, higher jumps, double jumps, wall bouncing, wall climbing, and dashing. The pack includes ten gun types, from assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, and machine pistols to bazookas, a Kitty Launcher, a minigun, and an NRG AR; guns have rarity variants and weight that affects movement. Explore large castles, pirate ships, floating villages, pyramids, pillager camps, and dungeons, searching chests for weapons, powerful items, and loot boxes that can yield randomized weapons or armor. Black Market quests track monster kills and award distinctive items, while fishing is the only way to find gun attachments such as scopes that modify recoil, aiming speed, and accuracy. Progress toward the End requires finding twelve distinct Eyes of Ender scattered across the world, and reaching it leads to a battle with Mother and the story’s revelations. The world spans ten stacked dimensions, accessed by digging down or traveling upward, with examples including Inner Earth, Heck, Eight Bit, and Gummy Land; dimensional cookies found in chests can transport players between most dimensions. More than 1,300 community-made variant textures give vanilla mobs striking appearances, and weakened mobs can be captured in glass jars for transport or display. A revised health system adds a regenerating shield, while health canisters and mob drops offer ways to build or restore health; XP coins can be saved for later or gambled in minigames against GameBots. Villages can be expanded and edited, and players can interact with villagers, marry, raise children, and eventually assign them resource-gathering work. An arcade mode offers optional monster-wave battles across five dimensions, with loadouts chosen for each run rather than a normal world progression.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 20 Sep 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 15 Sep 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 239 of its 241 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 236 of its 238 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 14 of the 161 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
77 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
