    About

    Precision Prospecting is a TerraFirmaCraft addon that offers more targeted ways to search for underground resources than the standard Prospector’s Pick. Its Prospector’s Hammer scans a smaller area, the Prospector’s Drill scans directionally, and the Mineral Prospector covers a larger area while detecting only non-metal ores. The tools are available in metal tiers ranging from copper to red steel. Server configuration lets players adjust each tool’s scanning radii and displacement, which shifts the center and shape of the area being surveyed. For creators, custom prospecting tools can be defined through the optional KubeJS integration where supported, with controls for scan dimensions, displacement, cooldown, and the block tag being searched.
