    About

    Firmalife is a cooking and farming addon for TerraFirmaCraft that makes food production and preservation more involved while adding a broad range of foods and agricultural systems. Its cooking equipment includes brick ovens for bread, pizza, and other baked foods, plus modular appliances for grilling and boiling; bread-making uses yeast, and the mod also adds pasta, pies, burritos, and tacos. Food production spans beekeeping, chocolate-making, winemaking, herbs and spices, fruit trees and berry bushes, and greenhouse growing that can keep crops productive through winter. Cheesemaking has several stages, from curdling milk and separating curds to making cheeses such as Cheddar, Chevre, Gouda, Feta, and Ricotta; cheese wheels can be aged in a cellar. Cellars also help preserve food: shelves and hangers store provisions with improved decay protection, while drying, smoking, and jarring provide further ways to extend food’s usefulness. The collection includes vegan foods such as tofu and pineapple leather, alongside smoked meat and cheese, fruit preserves, and carved pumpkins for jack-o’-lanterns. Recipes integrate with JEI and datapacks, supporting recipe discovery and configurable food content.
