Cobblemon Official Modpack bundles the Cobblemon Pokémon adventure with visual, audio, performance, and quality-of-life enhancements while keeping the experience close to vanilla Minecraft. Catch and train more than 800 Pokémon: battle wild Pokémon for experience, level up to learn moves, evolve when you choose, and track sightings and catches in a Pokédex with a scanner for analyzing wild Pokémon. Battles use the Pokémon Showdown! engine, and free movement can let you build, mine, or fight other mobs while a Pokémon battle is underway; you can also battle and trade with friends in multiplayer. The modpack also supports riding Pokémon, sending them to roam in pastures, and challenging larger, stronger Alpha Pokémon that can be caught or defeated for rewards. Grow berries from wild finds or farmland, mulch them for bonuses, and cross-breed them to produce mutations; crops and berries can also be brewed into medicine, with brewed potions offering stronger healing. Explore ancient structures for loot and surprises, excavate suspicious gravel or sand at certain locations to find fossils, and revive those fossils with a resurrection machine. A bundled single-player tutorial world, Cobbled Farms, introduces Cobblemon features through books and asks you to help maintain a small farming community, with guidance for creating a similar community in another world or server. Optional recommended resource and shader packs are included but disabled by default, and the modpack can connect to servers running Cobblemon and Kotlin for Forge without requiring the rest of the pack on the server.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 12 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 16 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 74 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 72 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 2 of the 69 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
2 other mods show AI use only from after this release (12 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
3 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
