PrimalCore is a configurable survival mod that reshapes early-game progression around primitive technology and a more demanding world. Instead of starting with wooden and stone tools, players gather plant fiber, sticks, and flint, then flake stone against a hard surface to make their first tools; flaking can fail or consume material, and a flint hatchet is needed to harvest wood. Woodworking becomes a sequence of hands-on steps: strip bark with a work blade, split the stripped log with an axe, and use the resulting pieces to make log stacks for charcoal production. Primitive processing stations add distinct crafting and cooking routines: querns grind ingredients such as corn seeds or bones, cauldrons handle heated fluid and item recipes, drying racks can spoil food depending on their surroundings, and fuel-fired hibachis cook food over time. The mod adds a Nether ecosystem with plants such as Cineris cilium, whose mature growth pushes items and entities in a direction, and Corphyry, a tube-worm-like stalk that can be made into planks; Nether Earth can also be heated with lava or magma to grow Nether crops. Nether wildlife includes Ovis Atre, territorial sheep that provide wool, meat, milk, and other products but can attack as a group, while sharks threaten players in deep oceans and untamable wolves hunt in wilderness packs. New food and resource options include cultivable corn for eating or grinding into flour, bog iron found in clay or mud, and iron sand called satetsu found in sandy areas near water. Other practical additions include baited fish traps that can collect different items depending on biome, barrels for storing fluids, and shelves and crates for storing items. Survival changes can make routine actions riskier: exposed torches go out, attempting to break an unharvestable block by hand can injure the player, and crafted versions of many added stone types prevent ordinary mob spawning. The mod’s major features can be configured or disabled, letting players adjust its survival changes and world additions to suit their setup.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
Adds 1,032 items, 1 mob, 6 other entities, 204 recipes, 19 loot tables and 46 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
